I am Dahan Miao, a 17-year-old student-athlete from Taipei, Taiwan, and the COO of Sweetsurplus. I manage our operations, ensuring we efficiently connect local bakeries and restaurants with charities. My role as the COO also involves overseeing logistics and optimizing our processes to help make a positive impact on our community.

Hi, I’m Aaron Chia, an 18-year-old logistics coordinator at Sweetsurplus. My role involves organizing the delivery of surplus baked goods from bakeries to local charities, ensuring no food goes to waste. I’m passionate about using logistics to create meaningful change, helping build a more sustainable and equitable food system. Working with Sweetsurplus has shown me the power of collaboration and community in tackling food insecurity and making a real impact.
